okay so i read some ahband ppl's blog. and i feel like crying again. ahh i tot i could finally get over the sadness of that silver but i guess that wound will remain. today wenyi and a few others went to SCH to hear haising play and of course, today's results.oh and ngee ann got silver too. wth. i just dun know wad the judges want.even mrs chua and other conductors say we should have gotten a gold. BUT one thing good that i heard frm chongning today was that she heard frm someone tat one judge gave us a standing ovation after we played. tats one point to be happy about(: but of course, there is still that reality of a silver to get us all sad agn. although i know that we did our best,tat silver medal still affects.
i remember jieting told me tat she did not want to say that the medal is not impt, its the process tat counts.because everyone know tat the medal counts.esp when this syf is only once in two years. and so we have to live under this name of silver for two years. but, im sure the nxt syf will be better(: and hopefully i can be ther to hear the word GOLD coming out frm the mouth of the person announcing the results.
ytd,came to sch and i just couldnt bear to hear the announcement of our result.haix i remembered two years ago on the day after syf, we were told to sit at the back of the class and gather at the back of the parade sq and cheer when they announced our gold wif honours. although i did not take part in tat syf, i was extremely happy and proud to be part of ahband.this year, the mood was totally different but im still proud to be part of this band. everyone must have been shocked tat band got a silver but just blame it on the strict standard this year. 5 GWH bands dropped to silver. we shared the same fate. so when we're brooding over this, take heart tat we're not the only ones.catholic high took this result just as badly too cox i saw many of them crying when they left SCH. haix this syf must have left bad memories for many many band members.but come one, we're not lousy, its just that maybe we did not play to the judges liking BUT we definitly played the way we wanted to and everyone is happy wif our playing.
well, back to topic, after flag raising, went back to class and many ppl were comforting me and it was after hearing all these tat i finally could not control my tears anymore. i cried for a while and thanks jacintha and benhui for consoling me. THANKYOU!(:
and there's GERMAINE,YINGMIN,SHUMIN,REBECCA,PHYLLIS,GAYLE,JIETING,AMANDA and others to thank.thanks for being concerned and for the encouragement. dont worry, im fine now((: i erased everything related to syf on my table so i will not be reminded of it everytime i look down onto my table. i think its time to move on, get over this obstacle and get ready for the next. yup(:
it was raining extremely heavily just now. ohmygoodness but one thing good is that me, mana, shawn reached the mrt just in time for the rain. it was really perfect timing man. when the first few drops of rain came, we just step foot into shelter. but after tat was like horrible because we were wet at the bus stop. rain was so extremely heavy.there's band tmr.and no test tmr ! (:
